Stanwellia sp. Newcastle Locale - Small Juvenile

Juvenile Stanwellia species from Newcastle. Stanwellia are an open-hole builder but utilise more soft, silky web in comparison to Arbanitis. They are more often found building their burrows from under rocks or logs, whereas Arbanitis builds them in the open, often on embankments. As with most mygalomorphs, they prefer a substrate with some clay content.
