Spiny Leaf Insect - Extatosoma tiaratum

Captive-bred Juvenile Spiny Leaf Insects. With a choice of either male or female

These insects are common in the hobby but are still great to keep. They feed on various plant species, such as Eucalyptus (and other gum trees), wattles (Acacia), lilly pilly (Syzygium) and roses. 

They are easily held and make great pets for kids. Females produce cloned offspring even without a mate. Under optimal conditions, the eggs take around one year to hatch.
