Red-Haired Tarantula (Phlogius Rubiseta) 2nd Instar Sling

Phlogius Tarantulas are Terrestrial Tarantulas that enjoy climbing aswell as digging. They require coir peat/coco peat soil substrate, half of the enclosure being misted and the other half being dried. 

Phlogius Tarantulas have longer legs compared to Selenotypus and are generally darker and more “leggy” then the Selenotypus and Selenotholus Tarantulas.

Phlogius can grow to a max leg span of over 120mm/12cm, making them some of Australia’s Largest tarantulas!

Adding Sphagnum Moss will keep the humidity in the enclosures, and some tall/longer Wooden hides for them to climb and hide during the day, with a small water dish at the corner of their enclosure.
